It should be slim here!
Amount and distribution
of fat in your face.👇
I’m sure my subscribers
would know that these are
very important factors
for better looking face.
Most facial areas look
better with moderate fat.👍
Forehead, glabella, nose,
under eyes, front and
side cheek, chin,
nasolabial folds,
and even jawline need
moderate amount of fat.
In fact, every facial
area needs some fat
except for one area.
This area looks better
without volume.
Can you guess this area?👂
I believe most of my
subscribers would know this.
This is not something
from textbooks.
Most of my contents
aren’t actually from textbooks.
As I observed many faces,
heard people’s concerns,
gave treatments, saw results,
throughout years,
I thought ‘This area is
not really helpful
for certain people’
‘I wish I could reduce
fat in this area”
This area is so important.👌
It also influences
on how you look
and determines the
mood in some way.
Can you guess the area?
I also met many people
who were concerned
about volume in this area.
So, I decided to
make this video.
This is a dermatologist,
Dr.Filler,
who makes you look
better without surgery.
Now, I’ll give you some hints.
When this area is too
voluminous, you look
anpangman as you smile.😆
Answer is this!
I’m sure some of you
guessed the similar area.
The answer is this area.
It’s is located 1cm to
1.5cm from lateral region
of nasolabial fold.
It is composed of cheek,
fatty tissue, and nasolabial fat.
Now, I’ll explain why this
area should be skinner
than other areas.😃
First, when this area
is voluminous,
it makes nasolabial
folds stand out more.
So, there will be
clearer boundary
When this area
is too voluminous,
nasolabial filler
won’t be effective.
Instead, the filler would
make these all areas
stand out more remarkably.
As a result, the whole
face looks chubbier.😅
So, the face looks
more awkward.
In case of men,
they look more feminine.
For example, when
men with nasolabial fats get
nasolabial filler to look
softer and more gentle,
they look like women
who apparently got
plastic surgery.
Please keep that in mind.
Now, let’s move on
to second reason.
When you lack volume
under eyes and front cheek
while having voluminous
nasolabial fat
and slightly longer face,
the midface part
looks longer.
As a result, the whole
face looks longer.
The most voluminous
part of the face should be
slightly upper part
rather than the lower part.
When the lower part is
more voluminous
than other areas,
that makes your
face look longer.😢
Third, when this area
is too voluminous,
the overall midface looks saggy
and you look even older.
There are also cases where
saggy midface causes
volume in this area.
Fourth, when this area
is too voluminous,
I don’t recommend filler
for the nasolabial folds.😓
When you just leave
this area and get
nasolabial filler,
the nasolabial filler
would stand out too much.
Especially for men,
the face would look
more feminine.
Even if you want
more a gentle look,
think before getting the filler.
Otherwise, the face
would look like women
who got plastic surgery.
Then, why do we get
unnecessary volume
on this area?
As we get older,
we lose volume
on front cheek
as well as
collagen elastin.
Then, the skin
gets saggy and
tissues supporting
skin get looser.
These are the general
aging step of
the saggy skin.
In other words,
unnecessary
fat accumulate
in this area as
we get older.
However, I often
meet patients
who have excessive
volume or fats
in this area even
when they are
still young.
This is the key
point of this video.
Nasolabial fats usually
get serious around 40s.
However, people in
20s and 30s often get
excessive volume
around nasolabial area.
Why is that?👇
The most common reason
is the nasolabial
filler they earlier got.
I mentioned about
this in my previous video.
This can happen when
you got nasolabial
filler 7~8 years ago.
The nasolabial filler
often accumulate
in this area.
This is more likely
to happen when you
got nasolabial
filler repeatedly
or got higher
filler doses.
For people who got
fillers under eyes
or on front cheek,
the filler volume often
accumulate in these areas.
This also happens
in Sculptra.
After injecting Sculptra
on nasolabial folds,
the area is
often massaged.
Then, the Sculptra
particles would
slightly spread
around and upper
part of nasolabial folds.
Slight spread won’t
cause serious problem,
However, depending
on how Sculptra is injected
and depending on
how the area is massaged,
the particles may distribute
more on upper nasolabial area.
Then, there would be
more collagen and
volume on the upper area.
As a result, the nasolabial
folds may worsen
even after getting the
Sculptra in some cases.
Other than filler and Sculptra,
fat grafting also may cause
unnecessary
volume.
After fat grafting,
The fat graft survival
rate depends on individuals
and no one can predict
the fat grafting result.
When fat graft survival
rate is higher than expected,
when you gained weight
after fat grafting,and even
went through aging process,
the fats get saggy and
cause nasolabial fats.
Furthermore, paranasal
augmentation may cause
unnecessary volume on
the upper part of the
nasolabial area.
The volume treatments
are not the only causes.👊
The lifting treatments
can cause volume too.
I earlier mentioned
about this.
Most of the radio
frequency lifting devices
often known as lifting
lasers involve
the risk of losing volume.
In case of excessive
lifting treatment or
in case of sensitive skin,
loss in cheek volume
may cause saggy midface
and increase volume
on upper nasolabial area.
Such unnecessary
volume may occur
in almost all types
of lifting devices that
people usually get
for the lifting effects.
Some may ask
“Can Inmode cause
loss in volume?”
and you actually don’t
have to ask about that.
The answer is always “Yes.”
So, excessive filler
and lifting treatment aren’t
always good for
the facial volume.
In addition, extreme
diets may cause
loss in cheek volume
and saggy face.
Then, how should
we solve these problems?
Are there any solutions?👇
Of course.
First, it is easy to solve
the filler accumulated
on the nasolabial area.
You can simply melt the filler.
Of course, you may
need to melt filler
several times instead
of melting at once.
After melting the filler,
the area may seem
empty and saggy.
That’s because the area is
slightly voluminous
even after melting filler.
In such cases,
the area can be tightened
by applying the
tightening treatment
on necessary areas.
In case of fat from gaining
weight, fat accumulated
from Sculptra, or saggy
skin from skin aging,
you can also get the
area slimmer by getting
fat melting injections or
by getting lifting treatments.
In cases of accumulated
nasolabial fats while lacking
volume on front cheek
or having flat front cheek,
you can also get filler
treatments that add volume
by connecting front cheek
and areas under eyes.
In such cases, the volume
on the upper part would
pull up the lower part
and lift the overall
midface eventually.👍
Of course, thread lifting
is very effective for
lack of facial volume, thin skin,
as well as saggy skin.
By reducing nasolabial folds,
pulling the nasolabial folds
to cheekbone direction with threads,
and injecting filler on front
cheek and under eye area
for more volume, this would lift the
midface and remove the
nasolabial folds at the same time.
you can also get slight
filler on nasolabial folds
for lifting the midface part
and reducing the nasolabial
folds at the same time.
If you cannot understand
well, please watch the
video repeatedly.👍
Lifting and volume
on midface are really important
for better looking face.
Reducing unnecessary
facial volume,adding
necessary facial volume,
and lifting the necessary
part should be done together
to make better facial
contour without surgery.
